Osmo LED Smart-Oil

Osmo LED Smart-Oil is a professional, matt oil finish that cures in a matter of seconds using LED spotlights, offering significant time savings compared with conventional products.

Important instructions for use and details:
Curing: The oil does not cure through oxidation in the air, but must be exposed to a suitable LED lamp (wavelength 395 nm, at least 8 watts). Without this, complete curing will not take place.
Application: When applying the oil, be sure to avoid direct sunlight or bright light containing UV rays, as this can cause unwanted pre-curing. Application under artificial light is recommended.
Application: Only one coat is required for a matt finish. For a silk-matt sheen, a second, very thin coat (approx. 5–10 g/m²) can be applied after the first coat has been lightly sanded.
Coverage: One litre covers approx. 40–50 m² per coat.
Colours: The oil is available in 12 modern shades as well as colourless matt.
VOC content: The product is low in VOCs and solvent-free (max. 10 g/l VOC).

Suitability and Certificates:
This finish is suitable for all wooden floors, stairs and furniture, particularly for woods with high natural oil content and in high-traffic areas. It is resistant to liquids such as wine, beer, cola and coffee (in accordance with DIN EN 12720) and, once dry, meets the following safety standards:
